When it happens and you lose your job, you need to stay on the top of your life. It is natural that worries enter your mind as you realize that you no longer have a steady paycheck, but you should not become overwhelmed by this. Many people lose control of themselves and end up staying weeks in their house and ordering food in, not taking care of themselves and neglecting personal hygiene. Becoming unemployed is something that really makes you feel bad, and If you really are one of those people who can't manage without a daily schedule - you live with your calendar and you have to write everything down - then it is time to start building your daily schedule.
Try to keep a similar rhythm to your day as you would be still working. Losing your job should not prevent you from going to bed early, and waking up early. Put the alarm clock on and wake up at seven. Get Up! Go jogging and do some exercise - this will put your body working and help you maintain something regular in your life. Actually this is quite the same that you do on a daily basis when you are working - you get up and you get physically active to get yourself to your office or wherever you work. Some people who work physical jobs should do two workouts a day to keep their mind working the same way.
Being physically active is important for anyone, not just for unemployed people who need motivation. Also it is important to get out of the house to a place where you have been shown to be productive. When you lose your job you are going to have to get your finances in order and start looking for a new job, going to a place that helps you concentrate and makes you more efficent, will make it easier to prepare for future job interviews and helps you to prepare your material, and apply for jobs. Being systematic is a key here! Write it in your calendar. For now you are waking up always at seven, doing a one hour workout in the morning, take a shower and before the clock is nine you should be at the library, or some place where you can stay focused on your goals.
Personal hygiene is very important, because it is one of the first things that people who become anti-social and hermits start to lose. When you don't cut your fingernails, hair, shave, wash your hair, you are on your way of becoming an outcast. No employer wants to hire an outcast! Stay on the top of your game and you can still find a new job and get back on the peak of the hill once again. Put a half an hour every day on your calendar that is reserved for personal hygiene. This could be taking care of your skin, face, nails, hair - whatever. Even if you are a man this is important, so go and get some male skin products.
Now that you have more time it is a great idea to spend some more time with your family. Go and visit relatives a little more but at the same time don't become a burden and go there every day and cry about your problems. You don't want them to worry about you, and you don't want yourself to worry about you. Never lose hope.

Financial help for unemployed is necessary
Sometimes it just happens and your boss walks to you at work and says that there is no more work for you. This can be hard especially at these times when the economy of the whole world is out of balance, and people are losing their jobs with no promise of finding a new one in the near future. Usually there are just a few things that you can use to boost your income at times like this, and it is mostly about managing your spending and reducing the expenses. If you want to become rich while unemployed then you are fighting a losing battle.
The very basic things that you are going to have to do when you become unemployed is find financial help for unemployed where-ever you can. There are support centers that can give you benefits and there is charity involved. The problem is that you are going to have to be without a job for a while, and it all depends on your salary - if you were at a high paying job you are not going to get any help because they are assuming that you still have that money saved up somewhere. If you don't then you will most likely have a hard time.
Saving money is something that we all should do - if not for the sake of buying something then for the reason that you will never know what happens in your workplace. It might be that you boss has been dishonest about the situation of the company and it is going bankcrupt. This happens and in those cases the employees are left alone and without a salary.
When you become unemployed you should first cut down all the things that take money in your life. I mean everything. That way you will notice the things that you really need and use - you can get them back after a while. This means that you should cancel all magazine subscriptions, end your cabel contract, close your mobile phone and stop eating out. You would be surprised by the amount that people eat out even if they can't afford it. You can save a lot of money by making all your food yourself.
